Reaching out into local hospital communities..

Reaching out to all in our community is an important part of bringing the good news to all, especially to the sick and those who care and look after them, as well as those family and friends who are impacted by loved ones who are ill or in distress. We encourage those church members with a caring heart to consider being part of our hospital visit team.

A team visits Macclesfield General Hospital every other month to run the morning service in the Hospital Chapel.

This generally involves visiting the wards to invite patients, taking them to the service (usually in a wheelchair) and, of course, returning them! We provide all aspects of a 'church service' - music and worship leading, preaching and prayers. We have had many opportunities to minister powerfully to people in prayer and often help them just by providing a listening ear in their time of need.

We have witnessed many patients being touched and blessed by The Lord!
