Be a Part of Something Special!
Since 1996 China’s children have been our concern.. International China Concern began in the heart of a young man, moved by the compassion of God for China’s orphaned and abandoned children. ICC is a Hong Kong based charitable organization established in 1994 to support the Chinese Government in their care of the socially disadvantaged. Incorporated as a Hong Kong charitable institution in 1996, ICC acts as a bridge between China and overseas organizations and individuals, channelling finances and people resources into joint venture projects.
International China Concern’s aim is, through working alongside various Chinese government departments, to upgrade and establish new social welfare establishments, providing management expertise, funding and training.
Worldwide
Currently, International China Concern has representative offices in the following countries: Hong Kong, Australia, USA, Canada, Malaysia, Switzerland and Holland. Each of these offices represents the work of International China Concern, raising the awareness of ways in which overseas organizations and individuals can play a part in helping China build upon the good social welfare foundations that already exist.
Resourses
In acting as a bridge, ICC is able to channel medical equipment, personnel, rehabilitation equipment, training resources, clothing and finances to where they are most needed. In China, there is a move to work in partnership with organisations such as ICC to improve the conditions in which the abandoned live. Permission was granted in 2004 to develop community based residential care or group homes. ICC plans to establish many more in the future and will also offer support services to families with special needs children and young adults.
