Pre-school Nursery

An excellent and long-standing Pre-school Nursery is operated from the Danesford Community Centre.

New Life Church has always placed a major emphasis on the importance, inclusion, development and whole well being of children.  The pre-School Nursery offers all the facilities, activities and support that you would expect, whilst at the same time providing education and learning that is fun for young children.

Nursery facilities at New Life offer a loving Christian environment, created by qualified and dedicated staff. Activities where appropriate are based on Christian principles and teaching.  Popular events with parents, guardians, grandparents and relations are the Nursery Marriage, Sports Day, Harvest Festival and the Christmas Nativity, which are run every year.

The Pre-School Group comprises:
Pre-School for 3 and 4 year olds.
The Playroom for 2 year olds.
Baby and Toddler group.

New Life Pre-School Group is a member of the Pre-School Learning Alliance.

Pre-School.
Pre-School caters for 25 children each morning, Monday to Friday, where children aged three and four are stimulated and encouraged to master pre-school skills through play, as set down by the foundation stage curriculum. We have successfully been through OFSTED inspections and are registered with Cheshire East Council to receive funding for three and four year olds.

The Playroom.
In The Playroom, 12 two year old children at a time play together with a caring staff on a 1:4 ratio. They explore paint, sand and playdough and learn social skills in a bright and loving environment.

Baby and Toddler sessions.
Little ones come one or two afternoons a week with an adult and play in a structured session, which includes free play, birthdays and singing time, prayers and snack time. There is the chance to enjoy the freedom of apparatus in a large carpeted hall, as well as in the pre-School rooms.

Staff
The staff are led by Margaret Sanders, who has several years experience working with pre-schoolers and holds a CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Pre-school Practice. The majority of staff are from within New Life Church and hold various certificates relating to child development, including N.N.E.B., N.V.Q. and D.P.P. and are continually encouraged to further their training.
