Open Doors

Millions of Christians are at risk of persecution around the world. Open Doors is active in more than fifty countries, supplying Bibles, leadership training, Scripture-based literacy programmes and support for Christians suffering for their faith.

New Life Church provides regular financial support to Open Doors. Some of us meet regularly to pray specifically for the persecuted church. Each month our notice board focuses on a different nation where it is hard to be a Christian.

We will be marking the International Day of Prayer by making a presentation about the Secret Children on Sunday morning and encouraging our members to sign up for 49 days of prayer.

Some of our members write letters of encouragement to Christians suffering persecution to assure them of our love and help them to stand firm in their faith
